Alt+tab and i crash

Ok so, I'm playing ofp resistance couldnt find its fourm so I'm posting here I'm running win xp geforce fx 5200 pci p4 2gig 256ram and i try and alt tab out of ofp to change ch on team speak 2 thats all thats running other then my anti virus and sound manger soundblaster live and it locks up and i have to kill the power PLZ TELL ME WHAT TO DO i tryed default settings for the video card and matching the ofp res and refresh rate with the desktop but it didnt help and i can see my windows mouse but no desk top... any help plz its very welcome or drop me an e-mail at

Try not using the same resolution in Windows and OFP.

Ok that worked for about 2 alt tabs then i kept up the same lock up deal...

What OS you using? I use XP, I prefer desktop and game resolution identical, alt+tabbing like that causes you to see the mouse pointer but not go to desktop, what I do to get around that is to press windows key+L, this will either take you to fast switch windows users or to lock your machine, either way you either click cancel or click on your windows account name and you're back at the desktop, worth trying


PS When I say "lock your machine" I don't mean it locks up so you have to reboot, I mean it locks it so your mom can't find your bikini model collection, just wanted to clarify that

Ok im using xp all try matching the res for it and see if that helps! bikini modles... I think those are mine..and meh dads not hers ***

I used to have this prob all the time back in the geforce two days. I always seemed to me that the card had trouble changing resolutions. with my geforce 4 mx i have no trouble, occasionally it will crash ofp.
