I made CTF map on Kolgujev. I have added lots of vehicles and other stuffs. I also set view distance to 1500m. I have played without lags. I tested that map on MP and everybody said that they didn't discover lags.
Landscape looks a lot better and it's not so foggy anymore. View distances over 1500m can cause lags on lower quality graphic cards.
Option to set view distance in options menu would be great.

No, since its supposed to be set per map. Ie. if someone makes a foggy map to stop your from seeing far away wouldnt it be kinda stupid if you could turn the fog off?

I always set it to 10000

Lets talk about other than "lags"
like low FPS or so rather..
at least commonly known lag means latency between players.

Lag (latency) between 'given commands' (eg moving your mouse) and the execution of those 'given commands' are the same thing. You can use lag for several things. Let's just not start about pings
