If I plug my Logitech MX700 into PS2 port, WindowsXP blue screen crashes with this message:

MULTIPLE_IRP_COMPLETE_REQUESTS bug check has a value of 0x00000044. This indicates that a driver has tried to requested an IRP be completed that is already complete.

So it doesn't seem to be the same problem as you are experiencing.

IT WORKS !!!!

few weeks before, i had some cooler problems, so i had clean them and remove the CPU to do this.
The coolers are dead again (they are too old after 3 years ). So again, i remove the cpu and clean them. One of them was very close to cables and pushed on them.
I remove it and you know what : I play OFP for a full hour.

Thanks to the god of the computer voodoo !!!!

Anyway my computer is up to date now. And i can wasting time again on the one of the 10 best games ever made.

my advice :buy a live chicken and sacrifie it, it can help
