    How about making a better/alternative autopilot?

    I would like a simple autopilot which could just be given a heading and a altitude and stay there - much nicer for mapreading. It also be implemented as a "keep this heading" button or menu option where you manually adjust your heading to the desired, click the button and the heading will be kept if possible.

    It would be better if it was an automatic action when you selected the map (but only for airborne vehicles) such as with Warbirds the Tiscali online WW2 flightsim. The craft would just level off and fly at cruising speed in the same direction until you returned.
