SFG 1 Posted May 8, 2003 I recieved a beta cd today. I installed, first cd worked... 2nd cd installing.. then halfway through it gives me Data error(Cycle Redundancy Check) This only happens with this certain cd, and MOHAA 2nd cd. Mister Frag 0 Posted May 8, 2003 Unless there is a problem with your computer itself, you may well have a bad or damaged CD. Try using ISO Buster to get the data off the CD and onto your hard drive, and install from there. Regarding possible configuration problems with your system, it could be any number of things -- bad or missing drivers (4-in-1's come to mind), ASPI drivers, bad or incorrect cable (40 vs. 80 pin EIDE/ATA cable), overclocked PCI bus, etc. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
