I would like to see better objects for map makers. For instance, instead of having like 1 or 2 curves for a road texture, i would like to see a "short slight curve" a "short med curve" a "short big curve"...same for medium and long road objects

I would also like to see better forests to just place and so on...

I wish there was also the ability to set the population (if any) in the mission editor. Like for instance, at the start of an unsuspected invasion there should be civis running around. and you should be able to toggle the civi pop on island somewhere in the editor (or at least that'd be kind of cool).

Good ideas, and that population thing could be used on anilamls too...

Well, it looks like according tothe interview with Marek, we'll be getting animals!

I'd like to see, assuming OFP2 is a Vietnam based game:

Cyclos, vespas scooters, cargo carrying bicycles. Lots of them on the streets of the towns.

Rice storage containers, animal pens, buffalo carts and plows. Rice harvesting tools, fishing nets and poles and guys alongside the riverbanks fishing.

Water Buffalo, rice paddies with rice shoots growing in them and birds like cranes and egrets standing in them.

Market Place settings like stands and baskets full of rice, veggies and fish.

    Sampans of all types.

Billboards and signs to liven up urban areas a bit.

I'd love to see the ordinary day to day objects a bit more. A building has lights... where does the wiring come out of the house? Where do the lines run? (can we cut the lines?) Where is the power station? Sewage plants? Water towers? Phone lines? Get my meaning? There are a couple of other games out there that get the details like this right, but they are not open environments, so I can live with understand, but for OFP2, things like this really would add to the immersion and logic of some mission objectives. Just a bit of urban planning would really help take it to the next level.
