Just a updated beta of my Pacific Front Demo

The planes engage very well now and is very exciting.
I have someone working on some textures so I can't touch the model much ,but I worked on handling and weapons and such

Includes single player mission and couple editor missions

Features and Addons inlcuded:

3 Variants of F4U Corsair with many features including ACE Kill system (get a rising sun for every Zero shot down)

F4U N - night fighter with dark scheme,1500 rnds mgun,8 rockets,4 250lb bombs,300m radar

F4U BS - blacksheep in tri-color,fastest fighter,2500 rnds mgun,4 rockets

F4U E - early war gray scheme,1200 rnds mgun,4 250lb bombs

Curtiss SB2C Helldiver (very beta) - some current work done
to it

A6M2 Zero - in first stages of development but handling and weapons improved, has 2x7.62 and 2x20mm mguns and is very good enemy, some weapons sounds now

The biggest problem I see so far is that the aircraft do not attack ground targets except for the night-fighter version which sometimes fires a few rockets... but even then they are very inaccurate. Then of coarse the bomber with the tail gunner... he's floating above the airplane when it's flying around and the pilot can't fire the weapons manually. But I know that its a real early beta so it's not a big deal.
I personally would like to see the AI be very aggressive in attacking ground targets.
I haven't tested the zeroes against ground targets but at least they go after the corsairs very ferociously.
The handling on all the aircraft by the way is very good!
I really enjoyed flying them! The textures also look good (although I haven't taken a close look at the zeroes yet).
Keep up the great work!
You might consider using the BIS made camel pilots as pilots for your aircraft by the way.
Customized pilots would be cool as well especially some kamikaze pilots. Kamikaze missions would be easy to script because a trigger could be made remove the fuel. With a little experimenting with waypoints and trigger position I think it could be very cool.
Anyhoo... thanks again for the awesome addons. I can't wait until the mods finished and we have some good pacific troops, units, and islands to stage massive battles with!!!

They attack the ground targets quite a bit when I try them? especially tanks, I did have to slow down the use of the rockets as they were firing too many and may have resulted in less ground attacks from that. The Night Fighter, Navy and Early War have bombs.(Just that the proxies arent showing and you dont see bombs on any)
The Zeros only have MGuns
Try the mission a few times, you may see that they are hitting the tank quite a bit, but the rockets are not very powerful and it takes a few direct hits.
If there is planes in the air the Blacksheep will attack those first, while Night Fighter will attacks ground targets first unless they are getting shot at by planes, which keeps them busy with the planes first as the Zeros do engage well.

The Helldiver through the months has had many changes and is usually the test plane of my projects,I had everthing lined up well at one time. But last release I removed the tailgunner completely.Whether it still works ,i am not sure. Its only in there for visuals right now.I have recently done a few things to the Helldiver and am getting back on the tailgunner,so that will all be worked out.

Thanks for the comments, they really help and I will look into the ground attack thing again, things are getting busy around here

Hmmm.... ok. I'll try it a few more times and with different units to see if I can get them to attack. I was using the Nogova map and the Landser WWII units as well some WWIIEC German tanks... oh... and GFX-707's AA flack cannon that fires slow single shots (It's called Flak 34 or something like that). Anyhoo.... keep up the great work and I'll get back to you on the ground attack problem I was having after I've tested the planes out on other maps and with other East units.

Ahh if the Helldiver tailgunner is there he may not be bombing either.

The Kamikazee is a good idea, I do plan on doing a Kamazazee with 500lb unlaunchable bomb (they really did this)

Its too bad I do a little work and mess things up , the Helldiver was bombing and the bomb proxies were showing,I will get to that soon

The Helldiver has a "use gun" option available when the canopy is open which is the way the tailgun will work

I have a older pic:

and a link to a newer pic showing the 3 Corsairsand Helldiver from the demo:
Watch the popups and notice some of the Corsairs have a 3 prop blade finally
