I am making an airfield assault map, i can made a triger for a alarm sound when the assault force is detected, but i also want that when the alarm sound, the soviet forces at distant bases, board their BMP and their ural and try to retake the airport. I can define the waypoints to make the soldiers board the vehicles ect... the waypoint jazz is already dominated, but i dont know how to make the soviets wait relaxed till the alarm starts screaming. Please, i am new on mission editing, so if you can find an answer for me, feel free to explain it to me like you should explain it to the dumbest dumb of dumbland, ( Hey that could be the case :-) )
If U type a1=true in the "on activation" field on the alarm trigger, then U can type a1 in the condition field for the soldiers get in waypoint.
When the alarm goes off it sets a1 to true and when a1 is true the soldires will get in to the BMP if the condition is a1 on the get in waypoint.
But, if the condition is a1 on the get in waypoint they will run to the BMP and enter when a1 is set to true, so I suggest U put a move waypoint or something where U want them to be relaxing and put a1 in the condition field on that one.
Should work...hope it does...
you can also synchronise the trigger that sounds the alarm with the getin waypoints for the blokes. Same effect, different method.

click on SYNCHRONISE (top menu), then left click on the trigger and drag accross to the waypoint.
If you do it right a big dark blue line will appear to show they are synchronised.
