ive read before that it isnt posible
I remember in the very first demo that was released if you jumped out of the blackhawk before it got shot down by the shilka you could swim through the water.
It is possible to make them

I know how... its not very fun though.
You make all of the water ground, and then make the ground have the water texture.

If you had searched for floating planes in A&M: Works in Progress and A&M: Complete you wouldve come up with this topic:

Floating planes can not be flown and then land on water.. it was not designed into the engine.. Maybe BI will change this ..maybe not... but for now.. its impossible with the current public release engine.
