    Hey dude, how about making some similar script like the one from the Dutch marines? But instead of putting on their beret/helmet, you could use something like put on gasmask. You could then create missions where you would come under attack by some biological/chemical agent and you have to put on you&#39;re bio suit or else you die. Just an idea though.

    The Marines will not have increased hit points...the reason for this is because my personal primary use for the Marines will be for on-line adversarial play and I want to allow them to be easily faced against enemy units.

    The gasmask idea is great&#33; Unfortunately, I think hiding the modeling for the gasmask in addition to the default face/goggles, etc would make the final facecount too high and negatively impact performance...HOWEVER...a Marine with a gasmask already on is certainly not out of the question. I may look into creating that as part of the pack...it would be a seperate unit so that face count doesnt get out of hand.

    Where would you use them? All the cities are only a few blocks in size, then everything is green again.

    And then we will have hundreds of Americans and not enough bad guys to fight.

    Hmm how about making it so that most of the face polys will be cut off when you put the gasmask on.

    Updated shot of the sniper...I changed the ghille colors quite a bit to match the OFP environment more readily as well as adding vegitation to the suit. A longer coat which laps over the pants was also built in. Time to visit the LODs and work on some blood textures.

    Question: some of the soldiers seem to have woodland pattern helmet covers, instead of Marpat covers. Why?

    As I understand it, many items such as molle packs, pouches, helmet covers, body armor, etc. will remain woodland for a while in the USMC...eventually they will be moving EVERYTHING to the MARPAT cammo, but accessories will not be fully converted over as quickly as the main utility uniforms. Boonie hats and patrol caps will be MARPAT in the pack as those items will go full release with the new BDUs. In game,the woodland helmet helps to keep the standard NATO look for the unit as well, which will help alot in multiplay as many players differentiate enemy and friendly units by thier helmets. So there is a real life reason as well as a gameplay reason which works out well. The Molle Packs, and accessorie items will be woodland across the board on units, aside from the bonnies and patrol caps as mentioned above.
