6x6! Woohoo!
/avon will tell hubby to trade in the land cruiser
If you read carefully, it says "The SmarTruck II on the show floor was clearly armed for military duty". I doubt it will ever see such use.
However, the concept of an ATV with a modular unit capability that can be used by various agencies isn't so bad or far fetched, IMO.
Right now it's only a concept but something more refined might be heading down your street in years to come.
glad to see that it's not in LA autoshow which i'm going soon....
it is a good idea to have some consistency that can be utilized by different agencies. and from looks of it, i say actual version would look a bit better than one in autoshow.
however, i doubt if the auto will be used as regularly as hummer is.

what i don't like about this is that they are blowing on crap. $600,000.00 bucks was waisted on building this shit box when i think could have been spent on acually fighting terrorsism

good point. 600k would be used to conduct more efficient tasks at hand. i'm wondering what the use of the vehicle will bring in as benefit in the future.
at this point, i see no cost benefit advantage too.
The designers really have watched too much "James Bond".![]()

Well this is research of a kind though it is quite oddBut it is never a waste to spend money on research. Just look at how much money was "wasted" on the space program .... Where would we be without satelites and the likes?
woah!!! A missle launcher! I want one of these babies in my parking lot![]()
The stupidity. Counter-terrorism vehicle, man, this completes the illusion of terrorism being an entity you can fight with weapons.
EDIT: You know what that thing is good for? Digging rubble from another WTC... that's about it.
