    NOOO!!!!!!!! im doomed!!!! this thing with resistance... will this be availble to us when it comes out? my helicopter is going to look really stupid flying around with its landing gear down... is there possibly a way that by a command i could just make the gear appear and dissapear, sort of a retraction without any animation? or make the gear invisable? some way to make it seem like the gear is retracted! it is my dream to have airwolf in ofp and now this animation is cutting it short.

    Such command will be available ... in Resistance . (Sorry, I just could not resist this joke, I hope it is not too cruel for you). I am afraid OFP currently cannot do the effect you want. As you can see, even Mi24 we did does not have retractable gears (and we are aware it should have it). You could make gear a separate object, and make it appear and disapear with some scripting (there was some heli rope done this way). I understand this is not the solution you want, but I really think there is no real solution that would work well in current OFP.

    Just leave them retracted until Resistance comes out, we don&#39;t mind. I can see on your avatar that the wheels are not very visible anyway. If you model a vulcano for it, we won&#39;t mind the wheels

    well, i will either do 1 of 4 things untill resistance comes out (i will celebrate that day) i will leave the gear retracted, i will make it with no gear, and make it so it looks like it is hovering all the time, i could try to do the scripting, or i could make little stubs on the helicopter to act as gear.
