AI air cover on Warfare or MSO, Gossamer CTI maps???

Is it me or why do me & my friends never seem to encounter "ANY" enemy air on seemingly none of these great modders maps??? We pretty much play mostly CTI maps and i always set it up within the parameters for enemy air but "we never, ever seemingly encounter it, what gives??? Is there something i can do within the parameters to enhance our chances of encountering enemy air???

Im no expert on CTI or MSO, but ArmA 2's air AI is extremely silly, many times I have witnessed enemy choppers flying into the hills of Takistan and Chernarus without taking any damage, so its possible the enemy air may just be killing itself before getting to you.

Additionally, if you are solid at editing missions or scripting, you may be able to edit the mission itself to include more air.

No i've only seen enemy air i think "maybe once or twice" out of the literally dozens and dozens of times me & my friends have played CTI missions, as its our favorite mode. I have a bunch of CTI missions as well, don't know why the modders when they made there CTI missions didnt include the ability for the CTI ai commander to build air forces, just boggles me??? And unfortunately i dont know the first thing about editing missions, seems pretty complicated.
