Soldier icon in command bar shows red even after healing

Hi guys,

I've been playing OFPR for quite a while now and one thing that bugs me when I'm playing dynamic campaigns which are just single missions is that whenever I am out of ammo or if injured, the icon for "1" which is the squad leader turns red and no matter what I do it stays red. Is this normal and if so, is there a fix? Thanks

AFAIK it cannot be fixed.

If you (the player) is the leader of a squad and you run out of ammo or get injured the icon will remain red. With other AI in your squad you can have them report status and if healed or rearmed the red will go away. You can report ammo low or injured and the red will go for a second, but it comes back again. Like Akvad said there is no fix. Just one of many old OFP issues that were never fixed.

If anyone's having the same problem, I found a workaround to it. In the difficulty setting, you can turn off automatic status report or something along those lines. You just gotta remember you're injured and get medical aid.
