Am happy to announce the public release of Town Ops. A town focused dynamic action mission. It's made so it's always easy to find the action.

best played PVP but in coop it rocks and its fun (but tricky) on your own.

Town Ops is location focussed dynamic combat mission.

So you always know where the action is and where to go next.

You'll see a big white marker on your map. That's where to go.

And you'll see towering pillars of smoke. Those are your objectives.

In Town Ops your mission is to find the smoking wreck of a vehicle containing stolen tech and then hold the area. Your enemies are doing the same.

As you search you can claim smoking wrecks that are not your objective. Claiming more smoking wrecks than your enenmy causes your enemy to bleed tickets.

The first team to zero loses.

Town Ops is a solution to the lovely problems caused by Arma3's wonderful and epic scale. Usually it's hard to find the action or get up to speed with what's happening. In Town Opsyou are never far from where the action is.

Tactics and logistics are crucial. Armour doesn't respawn. Neither do air assets. So you need to use them wisely.

I recommend switching player info on map off. Then navigating and recce become even more crucial.

Recommend using your favourite weapon addons. They'll automatically be used. but MAKE SURE that all people on server have the same mods running.

Town Ops is a multiplayer mission that you can enjoy with other, against others or on your own.

I hope you enjoy it.

Known issues.

FIXED. Biggest issue is that it takes a while to start up. that's because the game chooses a new area every time. And it needs to find flat ground which arma 3 does quite slowly. Im trying to optimise this. But be patient, you might find it's worth it. Often it starts quickly.

FIXED. Winning brings up an error. that will be fixed.

big update. start time slashed to seconds thanks to shukos epic shk_pos script. FPS increased.

You start in the blue or red marker depedning on your side, then just head towards the white marker.

your task is to secure the bruning wrecks before the other side does while dealling with csat local forces.

dynamic weapons and vechicles allocation.

known problem: independents spawn with too few things. Expect a fix in a few days.

Sorry, been busy on some real life stuff.

added time based spawn protection (60 seconds).

also auto uses RHS vehicles if you have the mod installed.

Sure thing man. Just needs a few things checked but it's mostly CBA free at the moment.

Am also incorporating DAC as it gives the mission a boost of up to 10FPS. makes a big difference.
