will the arma launcher ever be like PWS?

will the arma launcher ever be like play with six where you can make mod packs vice versa?

and find and download and update mods through the launcher?

maybe the launcher can somehow be linked to workshop?

As far as updating mods through the launcher, I doubt it will happen, because it's not their content, not their problem, but I could be wrong, and it would be a nice feature.

all my mods are downloaded through pws and i cant move them over... and i do not fancy re downloading them again lol especially when i dont have a fibre optic connection :(

ive tried added them as a local mod but it wont let me as it doesnt recognise the documents folder as a local area etc

You can already group mods into different groups and I think I saw some of them downloading/updating by themselves. You can also chose from disk what mods to activate if already downloaded.

Acctually the launcher detects if you workshop item is complete and uptodate or not. It wil also repair it and download the update if needed ( most of the time steam auto update's it).

As for creating custom modpacks you just have to make a folder with the mods you want and link the file to the launcher. You can also make presets

On the top of the launcher there should be a cog sign. In there you can put the whole bar in where the mods are located. Then it should work because the launcher looks for mods in that folder than. This also makes it possible to put multiple mods on diffrent hdd/ssd and gave them all aviable

I know it's not entirely on topic but is A3 launcher force-launched for anyone else now? I can't seem to 'skip' it and directly launch A3 with commandline like I used to be able to.

And one of my group members reports that Play withSix launches A3 launcher which then breaks, because of this, I guess, same issue.
