"Contract 000975/8 - Ion Altis Division

Pantherea Amusement Park hereby contracts ION (Altis Division) Private Military Contractors to infiltrate said Pantherea Park and search for lost contractor employees. Those scientists (biologists, archeologits and drivers) should be brought back alive or have their fate registered and delivered to the contractor."

You can play SP or MP (Coop and Versus - there´s 4 playable slots for Raptors!!!!)

There´s at least one survivor, a scientist named Bermakoff, try to get to him as fast as you can, and scort him to the exfiltration points! (at least he´ll give you some clues about this bizarre incident) =)

To finish the mission, erradicate either the dinos or the PMCs or - in case of the PMCs - escape to the port or helipad (both marked on map)

[uPDATE] Thanks to KBBW123 tip, now the Pantherea gates opens magical...opps, automaticaly, and I´ve added 2 more playable Raptors slots for PvP and corrected some other message and end triggers!

Het there. awesome missions.

few things:

There is a spelling mistake in the description. the second time you mention Pantherea park you wrote pak instead of park ;) (in mission adn in the post here)

Also if you place a trigger on the Main Gate with this in it:

repeatedly,
activation by BLUFOR
size: A = 10, B= 6
on activition: door1 = nearestObject [T1, "land_ibr_zoogate"]; door1 animate ["Dvere1", 1]; door1 animate ["Dvere2", 1]
on deactivation: door1 animate ["Dvere1", 0]; door1 animate ["Dvere2", 0]

you can make the gate look like in the first film ;)

Wow, nice trigger KBBW123, I´ll incorporate to the next update and thanks for the typo on the description... we revise and revise and they always slip through ;D

Hope you guys like it, give some feedback if the multiplayer works alright, I´m considering adding more raptor slots for balance (thou I´ve sucked on preying, maybe 2 more slots would even the odds)

i advise some more PMC slots instead xD if they are controlled by players they might be enough but when they are played by AI its near impossible xD

btw we selected your mission as or Clan's Xmass event (with some slight modifications) feel free to join the event if you want to!

Wow, thanks a lot for choosing my humble mission, now I am officially flattered =)

I´ll add 2 more PMCs slots then... I must replay it with @Artemis on, I thought it is a bit easy now, but maybe the @DrSkill is making the dinos dumb too =)

I´m thinking of making a PG services version too (and I´ll add it here too), for a more PMC look (those FIA work but PG units look a lot better and PG isn´t a big download for those addons allergic)

Not sure if fixed yet: Independent are friendly to Blufor so after 2-3 dino kills friendly AI soldiers shoot you as "a traitor" ;) check mission settings. Otherwise, cool - nice to see missions slowly appearing ;)

@Icebreakr - are you refering to the FIA version or PG Services? PG is INDFOR so the dinos are considered "allies" and bots react like this... I´ve warned about this engine bug on steamworkshop, don´t know which workaround to circunvent this... but the FIA version didn´t had this problem, at least not with my playtests!

If anyone knows how to turn dinos into opfor, be my guest and enlighten me... I´ve tried to link the PG units to an invisible blufor (0% of presence on unit) but they´re still INDFOR =/

i seem to encounter that the Raptors are running in place. making it possible for me to olmost pet them.. is that something common or just me?

Which version KBBW123? The PG version has this engine bug of INDFOR sometimes not engaging another INDFOR, but I guess it could be a pathfinding bug due to the terrain (the AI is stuck so it doesn´t attack as it is stuck on a broken movement loop)

As I read some time ago in the Raptors pack thread, stucking may be mod's issue (with wrong animations transitions), that was already fixed for the next version.

Tried this mission once and briefly so far, in SP of course (via LAN host), but noticed one thing: AI seems unable to cross the main gate, in any case all of them run somewhere far to reach formation position via some gap in the fence, not through close, open gate just before their noses. That may be issue with the gate object blocking AI's pathfinding.

but the FIA version didn´t had this problem, at least not with my playtests!

As long are of different side, than player's, it's no problem anyway, for IND side there is friendliness switch in editor, and we have setFriend command.

If anyone knows how to turn dinos into opfor, be my guest and enlighten me...

Liniking with leader of another side of 0% presence works for me. Units now are marked with leader's side color and side command returns for all of them leader's side:

Same should be for opfor. Question is, if raptors should be grouped at all (may cause issues with shouting like normal soldiers of group AI behavior fighting with FSM AI from the mod, not sure), unless later each raptor will get own group via script. Another simple way to avoid "traitor" issue is using addRating command with some huge value (1000000) for each of player's side. Each "friendly" kill some rating is taken from this, and unit become a traitor when rating < 0 (-2000?). So, if you have rating like 1000000, you can shoot your "friends" a lot. Well, at least assuming, it works now same way, as when I tested this last time.

also, I don't know, how it is in A3, but in A2 precisely this command (not createUnit array though) was allowing to spawn properly working group (eg not shooting to each other etc., like it was for createUnit array) of one side consisting units of other side origin.

Of course, for the mod authors should be easy (not time consuming) to add raptor faction of each side to choose from - it's probably about single or two values (side,faction) in the config. Worthy of asking them anyway.

Thanks for the tips, Rydygier! I´ve tried the 0% presence BLUFOR linked unit to try to "convert" PG PMC´s to BLUFOR, but maybe I need to put it on a hiigher rank than my teamleader/player... about the gate, I´ll extend the gate trigger - so it opens before the truck gets too close - so it drops the AI inside the park... I´ve tried it with a small trigger area and the truck rammed the gates, killing us all... bt a longer trigger rectangle may do the job!

Expect both a FIA version (gate trigger fix) and PG services (traitor bug) update late tonight (I´m -5 GMT), but I guess the dino stuck is beyond my reach =)

Yes, I think so. Of course, to get bunch of not grouped together opfor raptors grouping each with separate opfor leader of 0% should do the trick. IMO addRating way is simpliest though.

Would be great if there was an objective such as rescue a trapped person by the Raptors where the PMC must rescue and escort him/her to the chopper.

I think it can be done with the Raptors set to "protect" IND model which is neutral to both BlueFor and OpFor. Would be intense for the PMC team to push the AI along to the chopper.

UPDATED BOTH MISSIONS!

Fixed the "traitor bug", now you can kill all dinos without being shot by your AI comrades!

There´s at least one survivor, a scientist named Bermakoff, try to get to him as fast as you can, and scort him to the exfiltration points! (thanks for the suggestion Valken) ;)

Known issue - On SP or MP with AI, as Dinos and PMCs are INDFOR, your AI teammates won´t engage the raptos, so it´s every man for himself! (the 0% presence OPFOR and Blufor unit didn´t work, even with Colonel ranking =/ )

FIA version has the survivor and PMCs now are deployed inside the Pantherea park, so no more " team running for secundary gate" issue anymore ;D

Awesome. Anybody have a server up?! :D

Haven't seen one yet, been checking every day. Only one Panthera server at all and it's a closed testing server for a life mission. Hopefully someone makes one soon!

just tried the original one with the SM but.......

ad arival he was allready dead..... (either by the car or a raptor unsure about that) and after that the text still shows up dunno i guess raptors don't respond to setcaptive

someone should make an toilethouse of JP 1.. so you can put him in there aslong as the T-rex issn't made

Yeah, raptors ignore setcaptive, handledamage, whatever script I´ve tried =P You gotta get there fast, after the truck drop you off, run like hell to save him... it worked for me all the time, maybe disable fatigue to get there on time!

The dialog is triggered by BLUFOR (FIA) or INDFOR (PG) cus the scientist isn´t a civie anymore after joining, thus it is triggered even if the dude is torn to pieces =P
