dreadedentity 278 Posted October 21, 2014 I wouldn't even know where to look in the wiki. Basically, I'm looking for a command that simulates a player double-tapping alt and being able to look around freely using the mouse. Thanks in advance.
iceman77 18 Posted October 21, 2014 Hmm. There may be an animation. What is it you're trying to do? Create an "interactive" cut scene? ie; Player being forced to auto walk (animation), but has camera control to look around.
Tajin 348 Posted October 21, 2014 Attach the player to something and he will only be able to turn as far as his floating zone goes, or turn his head. You can combine that with certain animations to limit him even further. Anyway, what are you aiming for ?
dreadedentity 278 Posted October 24, 2014 Anyway, what are you aiming for ? I was making a cruise control script and I wanted to disable players from controlling their vehicle with the mouse. I've resolved the issue that caused me to look for a way to toggle freelook, but it would be nice to know if it's possible some way.
Tajin 348 Posted October 24, 2014 Hmm, how about opening a dialog? That would trap the mouse until you close it. Alternately, you could use https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/remoteControl to disable the controls of the player. Maybe use it on a gamelogic or something like that. (not sure if that works) That's all I can think of right now.
