[MP] Operation Sandstorm

Short MP COOP mission for 8 players Operation Sandstorm by LUKI

Required game/version: 1.28 (standard version, not development)

Required addons: none (only official)

Thronos is the northern point of Altis and it is close to the sea. CSAT units landed in nearby bay (position 051226) on boats probably, and they want to start invasion on the Altis from that point. You must with your squad capture these ruins!

Thanks Luki, installing in the CiA coop server.

Have you tested it on a dedicated server?

I hope there's no respawn?

I suggest to add psycho's AIS.

Okay, no problem. Yes, I tested it on dedicated server and it works fine. In the mission is now available "instant" respawn, but in new version (not released yet) team leader has on the back tent for respawn (respawn is disabled till team leader build a tent). But i have an idea, add a parameter for respawn (values will be for example: No respawn, Base respawn (on the tent), Full respawn). :wink:

What's new?

- changed the respawn type from "INSTANT" to "GROUP"

- changed respawn delay from 10 seconds to 30 seconds

- fixed the bugs in scripts

- corrected english translation in stringtable.xml

Installed on the CiA server :)

We will let you know how it went once we play it.

So there's no respawn if the leader does not deploy the tent?

No, I changed it to "GROUP" respawn in version 2.08 .. so if somebody kill you, then you'll be respawned to second unit in your team. But i can change it back if you want ... it's more interisting with a tent :wink_o:

I released small hotfix now, in which I only add a debug console for the admin of the server, so you can now execute custom codes on fly.

I released today after a long time new version of my mission - ver. 2.09.

What's new?

- added new scripts

- deleted some patrols and objects

- small fixes in editor

- deleted "debugConsole.hpp" parameter

- updated "killed" eventhandler (if you'll be killed by enemy now, script subtract 1 point for death)

Changelog (ver. 2.10):

- patrols are now moved to the other positions

- OPFOR units have now better skills

- more GUER patrols added

- small changes in the content of the ammo-crate

- small tweaks in script files and in the editor
