Thread: Where is the real nogova?

The island is fictional so dont waste your time with the maps

Closest one I could find was the Island Limnos near Greece. Still not a perfect match...

I don't know: An almost square island with deserts, mountains, large plains and a mysterious river running through the middle...hmmm. Nogova may be pretty, but it seems a little bit too odd looking to be geologically feasible. Of course I could be wrong.
Certainly the game is rigged. Don't let that stop you; if you don't bet you can't win. - Lazarus Long in "Time Enough for Love" (R.A.Heinlein)

The islands shape is most likely based on a real island, just like the original 3. The terrain isn't.

Eyes wide shut.

I think BIS did a more accurate rendition of a real existing island.

It looks much like a pirate's secret treasure map in some book I've read when I was a kid
