Mod is now known as "Czech Military Forces" to avoid confusion with Canadian Armed Forces also, ACR is trademarked to CSLA, so that was not an option.

i would give a hint of constructive critisism, use the MICH helmets from the Independent faction, that is what the Czech army uses. by looks of google images and the A2 ACR dlc

That was my original idea, and I plan on using it eventually after I have time to get Atoine's textures to work correctly on it, thats for the feedback though!

good idea, if i knew how to model and make vehicles, i would have gladly helped in making current Czech vehicles, but at the moment you can actually just retexture the Gorgon. it is the Pandur II used by the Czechs. And the L-39 Albatros which is the ArmA III buzzard. and you can arm pilots with a scorpion SMG (Spit in game). And the Zafir retextured black, because it seems like a good weapon for them unless you make your own, although the design for the Zafir is an Israeli design, its known as the IMI Nagev MG7 variant.

Thanks for the info, I already knew the Buzzard was the L-39 and planned on retexturing it at some point, but before I do the vehicles I'm stuck up on getting the backpack configs and the MICH helmet done, so far I'm having little luck on both, Thanks for the post though, feed back is always welcome :D

Alright, I'm pumped making this after playing some ACR, so heres something I did Real fast, the helmet reskin is WAY to bright, but its the right colour and helmet, and the sight is now textured, the lense is far from final though.

I worked along side some Czech soldiers while in Afghanistan ('11-'12). Awesome soldiers for sure!

When I was with them they had a desert camo pattern, of course that could have changed by now.

I want to get a desert pattern for my units, but right now I only have multicam to work with, I hope BI Releases the ArmA2 models soon enough so I can pull the vehicles in and not spend months making my own.

this is the best i could find on the internet. but if you dont like them, i know that the desert highly resembles british 2 color desert like this

Thanks man! I didn't even know that website existed. I'll definitely look into using those after I finish the configs, (Any help with backpacks will be appreciated!). But like I said, once the configs are done and I have all the units I need set, I'll start making new camos and getting more on the VZ-58V attachments since I still lack a Tactical model.

the question is will someone ever find it or you find it?

BTW, when the ArmA II models are released next week you will have more vehicles like the T72 which the czech use a high upgraded version of, and the Mi-24 modified to the Mi-35. also not to forges the Land rover defender, the Mi-17, Mi-17sh. So your just getting started

I didn't' even know they were releasing next week, that makes it better :D but it also occurs to me ACR is a DLC so it might not release with the regular A2 models.

Also alot of DLC models were made by some of the guys from the CSLA Mod so it depends on the license situation. Perhaps ask the CSLA guys they might be able to help out with your mod.

So much feedback in so little time, thanks for the info, I'll try and get a hold of them whenever I can. I'm hoping my mod can get to Swedish Armed Forces quality with the amount of equipment I want to put into it.

Sweedish armed forces, no man you need to achieve the quality of Hellenic armed forces, jets, cars, weapons, uniforms, all of the stuff man. and if you dont want to, you can just modify the original A2 models to be the Czech versions, not having to ask for the ACR DLC versions, but as i do recall on the dev blog they said ALL arma II content including DLC will be released,

Hi! Nice somebody is working on it. I think setting a scope of your mod would be important - ACR as it is now, as it was in A2OA DLC or ACR in 2035? Because e.g. the Vz.58 weapons are almost phased out even today...

You might consider the CZ 805 BREN. It already supersedes the Vz.58 among most Czech forces except SpecOps (601th group which is still using mostly M4 IIRC, mainly for mixed ops ammo compatibility reasons I believe). And FN MINIMI (in 7.62) is the new MG of choice. Otherwise, I suggest waiting for the release of models, I think the SitRep mentioned even A2 textures could be included, which would make your life probably quite easier. BTW, the A3 Buzzard is based on L-159 not L-39 (not much difference model-wise though, just slightly different fuselage, and modern electronics, avionics, engine). Mi-35 choppers are ending their life cycle soon and it looks like our army is going to purchase transport/multirole choppers instead (think: Blackhawks or Eurocopter probably, with UH-60M having a slightly higher chance due to local factory producing their cockpits). So it might be a good idea to consider what to work on :)

I'll happily accept any help, how are you at config files? and I'm working on getting a BREN and so on, and it is more a modern ACR, and once I finish the modernized go forward to the future and such. and I know the Vz. 58 is being phased, (which saddens me) but since its my favorite rifle I had to add it! and thanks for the info on the Buzzard, I'm still having issues with the config for the Buzzard though.

idea: make 2 seperate rifleman

also a heads up, looking at pictures of the A2 ACR dlc, they use woodland Vz 95 camo on their vest, while everything else is Vz 95 desert

also the FN minimi is the Independent LMG. so thats a plus for less work. also i may post a little less on this thread for a while due to me playing with the new AAF Dev build vehicles (British Wildcat helicopter, British Warrior IFV, and by looks a german Leopard 2)

Also, i have been talking to .kju the guy who does AllinArmA, so maybe when this is done he can use this as the ACR replacement pack config

Its fine man, I just tried the choppers out and oh my they handle so well. But anywho, once I get my hands on the ArmA 2 BREN model I'll do just that, but right now I'm still working on configs for the jet and rucks so I can get those out of the way.

well i mentioned to .kju from AllinArma that i was helping you, so maybe if he decides to say hello on this thread you can ask for config help. btw, the 2 things that the new choppers should never go against, Kajmans and BTR-Ks

I want to release when I have all the standard units, (IE. Riflemen, AT, Combat Life Saver, ect) and at least the L-39's, then I'll do updates.

I hope so, right now I'm battling the Factions configs. It refuses to put both planes in, and even then it only shows them as Empty.
