  1. #1

    Unhappy

I download a file from the internet into a new folder. Then I try to put it into a ofp folder, but it says that i need a password to do so. I know I am doing something wrong.
Where do i put the addons and how.

LOL that is really funny, a password to install an ofp addon.
Eeeh, I think maybe you are using NT/XP and do not have full permission to that folder? Log in as admin?

    Hey,

I had the same problem, *** But I was trying to put them in the wrong place. ***Ok save the addon to your desktop, ***then unzip the file. *** all you need is the actual PBO file. *** But make sure you read the read me file if it is there. ***Now once you have the pbo file. ***leave that window open but shrink it down. ***Now click on the start menu at the bottom left corner of screen. ***click on programs, ***then codemaster, then Operation flashpoint. ***A list of folder should be there now, ***like campaings, missions, islands, addons ect. ***Depending on what the read me file says open the folder you need to put the file in. ***Now keep that window open but shrink it. ***Now just slide the PBO file only from the one window into the addons window or where ever you need it. ***Again if there is a read me file, it will tell you where to put it. *** Thats it....

Also BN880 I have windows XP and it works just fine thanks.
