    It depends: what the conflict is, where it is, who it is against etc... There is no "war plan".

    Intraservice rivalry is actually a really nasty thing. Combined forces always work best. After all, if you have no air fields it becomes difficult to sortie your fighters.

    Reminds me of the episode of Red Dwarf where Rimmer asks them to call him by his old school name, Ace. Lister wryly replies &#39;No one ever called you Ace&#33; Maybe Ace-hole&#33;&#39;



    I voted for the Marines because they are generally the &#39;beachead&#39; guys who get a lot of thankless tasks.

    What about at Normandy? That was the Army who inavded Frances, for the most part.
