Mister Frag 0 Posted August 4, 2002 There is a good explanation of the steps to take to uninstall/reinstall OFP on Avon Lady's site: http://www.theavonlady.org/theofpfaq/trouble/reinstall.htm In addition to the files mentioned in the FAQ, I would also consider backing up the Flashpoint.cfg file, although if this file is corrupted with bad settings, you might be better off letting OFP create a new one during the installation. Hidden 0 Posted August 6, 2002 Who said you have to format just because you have a sound card problem? Have you tried uninstalling it (control panel), restart and let plug and play re-install it? BTW, I am curious about the "having to start from zero" part, could you explain a little bit further? What kind of problem is it, I am willing to bet a format is not necessary.
