Hey Variable! You know anything about converting to Coop?

If you know how, be my guest and give it a go and I'll post it in here with your credits.

Very cool, how many missions are in this Camp? Looking forward to playing soon!

I've got 3 missions on this for a few reasons.

This being my first Camp, I didn't want to get too way over my head.

Also, I feel that I utilized a great portion the MBG_nam map including the river, jungle and roads.

Hope people will be satisfied enough with that. Just couldn't think of any more missions for that size map, besides, I wanted to stick to the real story and not make it too fictional.

Next thing I would like to do is more snazzier scripts, alternate missions and some Voice acting to go with the sideChats, using what little I know of Mandarin but fear my Chinese friends will ROLFing it.

Cool, nothing wrong with a brief Camp, the BAF one from BI was only a handful, but it was quality. It's cool this is based on the real story too, looking forward to get into it.

For voice acting, if you need an American, you know you can call on me. I spent some time in Nanjing studying Mandarin and Economics, and I did well with it when I was immersed in the culture, but at this point, I doubt I'd be able to do a good Chinese voice, those tones just don't come out right. So unless you want an American speaking poor, but not incorrect Mandarin I can't help much.

Thanks for your offer! I think you would do well with the tones. You know as well as I do that they are not that hard to master.

Deal is, getting the translations correct. I'd have to ask my wife with that, but her Chinese military nomenclature is not that particularly high.

Once I get the translations, it's a matter of putting them in Google Translate (Chinese/Chinese) and listening to the voice. Not so sure about Google's translating qualities (although it is getting better) but the voices are spot on.

Practice listening to that a few times, load up Audacity, Record, clear, record it again, clear it again, record, feel happy about the recording and export....

I may just call you up on your offer............:D

Unfortunately I don't know how to convert a campaign to a coop. My editing experience comes down to a single completed mission (see my signature).

I remember that mission! You got 7 out of ten. That's damn good. You would of got 8 or more if you had done an Intro and Outro. That's all that mission needed.

Thinking of going back in for an upgrade?

Hi KK, I think i found small bug in your campaign in all missions (nothing gamebreaking). Wenn player unit is hit by enemy and our unit is unconscious first we see error message on screen "Script Scripts\Unconscious.squf not found".

I think this is becose you put that script in mission folder not in missionfolder\scripts.

And in trigger in on act you write :

nul = execVM "Scripts\Unconscious.sqf"

Thanks Tom!

I'll get on that this weekend...trying out a new script that makes the player see blood vision and hears his heart beating when injured.

Very nice mission, though I only played through the opening stages so far.

The first insertion point is really close to the village - I cannot really envision how to get there with the boats. I dismount from them 300 meters southeast and then assault the village from the other river side.

I'm running into a problem when restoring a save game - I get a message that vme pla head is not found and the screen stays dark afterwards. Any solution to this?

As to the first insertion, there should be an Insertion marker near the village on the river. Is it not there or something?

Not sure about the "head not found" problem. When it stays dark, can you still hear the environment and move around or is it frozen?

I've just labeled this BETA version on the front page until I fix any bugs.

You can END MISSION and try the next two.....

Yes, there is a marker, but if I ride there with the boats, I get engaged by some HMG and shot down :) So I prefer to insert from a different position.

Yes, but this is only available while the scenario is running. When reloading from the scenarios tab, it bounces back to the selection with the error that content has been deleted.

[Edit] Looks like I posted to the wrong thread - I played the single player mission, but downloaded and tried the campaign now. The problem with no reload persists for me, though.
