Inspired by true events

Description:

China patrols the Mekong River in search of a fugitive murderer, guilty of killing dozens of Chinese merchants as well as the exportation of Heroin within the

Burmese side of the Golden Triangle.

Installation:

Just extract the zip-file and copy the the folder "Golden_Triangle" into your Arma2\Missions folder.

Included files:

All necessary scripts, sounds, jpeg and music.

Known Issues:

Not tested with any other mods, addons nor AI Mods such as ACE, SLX, GL4 and Gunters CoWarMod.

Use at your own risk.

btw, you should do like tom3kb or myself:

either put a link to all your missions in your signature, or create a topic with your whole work.

that way, it will be much more easy for us to search (and fin and play) your work.

1.) Is the mission ending and going straight into Outro

I keep getting a error that says I cant play the mission because I'm missing uns_east and uns_sfs. I'm using the latest version of the Unsung mod. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Yahwarrior,

Make sure you've got this patch as well.

You'll have to patch THE UNSUNG MOD with this:

Also, to anybody out there, I'll be making an NON-Unsung version using only the MBG_Nam map.

KommieKat i can't finish this mission becose in trigger for task7-Search Vang Vung in on act window you write: taskobj5 settaskstate "succesed" so we dont have taskobj7 accomplished, we accomplish 2nd time task5-second insertation. In end trigger we must finish all tasks to finish mission and now we cant do this.

Ps:about soldiers in LZ Fiona, maybe give few of them waypoints to walk in that camp?

Just finished v1.0-Unsung version.

Very good mission: nice intro/outro and music. Good briefing and tasks. Mission is long 79 min wenn i played from start to end.

No bugs or errors in tasks/triggers etc. Mission ends with no problems. I liked that few times we was surprised by enemy in jungle and we fight on very close range.

I dont played the Lite version but i noticed that:

1. In description.ext you write wrong mission name (so wenn we finish this mission we will not have green box in SP missions menu or if we first end Unsung version we will have green boxes in both versions).

2. You dont write mission title in editor->intel window. So in SP mission menu we have Golden_Triangle_lite.mgb_nam not for example Golden Triangle Lite but this is nothing big :)

Only 1 suggestion: maybe if you will release update someday you can add bis first aid modules for our squad. Now wenn we lose our medic we cant heal nobody. With bis first aid modules all teammates can bandage wounds. :)

You mean like Movie Day/Movie Night? I was wondering, do they affect performance at all? I have them in all of my LoK missions to add depth and texture that I think makes it look much better.

Color

Which ones do you use and do you really see a difference?

Why not leave it vanilla? Too bright? Too artificial? I really don't have an idea. Me thinks I need to do more research in BIS-WIKI or someplace here.

I'm a true blood, red white and blue honky white salt-tine cracker American.

I lived in Japan from '89 to '06 and now in Hong Kong

First wife is Japanese, now wife is Hong Kong Chinese.

I like supporting the VME MOD because I don't see anybody else doing it plus, there are some real

life situations happening here that my missions are based on and I like to put out there to you guys.
