    Description:
    I got bored one day and I had recently watched the movie. I decided to give it a go in ARMA. It's very barebones right now, but fully playable. After good feedback and results internally, I decided to throw it out to the public and what they think. I'm also looking for someone with a little more advanced scripting knowledge to help me out with a few things here and there so if you are interested PM me.

    Just as in the movie, you all start in one location on Utes. For ARMA's sake and gaming, no one spawns with weapons, however there are weapons and equipment scattered across the map. The objective is to be the last one standing. The mission only really works if everyone starts at once, so it's a nice change of pace for gaming communities to have some fun.

    Recommend you try it with ACE on as it greatly expands the gameplay (Stamina, Wounds, Abilty to hideweapons etc), but it's not required at all.

    Features to come:

    Working on increasing the weapon randomization throughout the map.
    Zone-Restriction that narrows down the playing field as time progress, just as in the movie.

    Blackfox, I am currently working on the same thing and was just going to put together a post similar to yours to see if anyone would be interested in this. I will contact you via PM as I have a number of ideas that may or may not jive with what you are doing.

    Perhaps we can join forces and put something out together rather than working separately.

    I will definitely grab your mission right now though and take a look and provide any feedback.

    Here are the rules for Battle Royale that I was going to use in my Battle Royale mission. Although for an Arma2 based one I was thinking of potential other scoring scenarios so that players are forced to be on the move etc:

    I've wanted to do this as a mod for years! Good to see someone taking a crack at it
    ArmA 2 is the perfect testing ground for this kind of project.

    I'll be keeping an eye on this project, as I may offer my services (mapping, modeling, texturing etc.) if this ports to ArmA 3.

    Hi all, Blackfox and I have teamed up to work on this together. We have discussed via teamspeak and hashed out the features we would like to try and accomplish for the first beta. We are also going to try and follow the movie as best we could but obviously will have to adapt things somewhat to accomodate the game engine etc.

    If any devs/modders are interested in joining the team we would welcome it. Just let me know here or via PM. We have submitted for a DevHeaven project space and just waiting on a response to that.

    I just registered to say that this is amazing, please add alot of updates and don't hesitate to release new versions! I am going to make weekly dedicated server public announced (in forums) matches with only this map.

    One thing you guys really need to add is the ace weapons arsenal, there are just way to many great guns in there to make gameplay interesting!

    Big thing is that there should be some % chance that some kind of crate carrying only one weapon or such can spawn in the forests or open land so you don't only search in buildings (random ofcourse), think of it as an air drop or randomly placed supply box with either medical / supportive / or weapon type of cargo.

    Great work! I also love that you both now work on this! Here is me hoping for an small update/release on this mission weekly.

    Yes, weapons and other items will be randomly placed all over the map. You likely won't see weekly updates just yet as we are working on many more features than are in this version.

    i think if we eventually do an ACE version it isn't the extra guns that will make things interesting but rather the medical equipment. Well that and possibly all the explosives!!!
