Arma 3 FanArt

Recommended Posts

Since I unfortunately haven't seen this posted here yet, I'll do it :) This fantastic piece of fan art is coming from raine , published on his blog.

It is called "Convoy"

Now set as my desktop background, wonderful stuff.

Vasilyevich - nice shot of the UAV, there's a great contrast between materials of the vehicle and terrain. I like it :)

keep the art coming guys!

And thanks everyone who commented on my earlier stuff; and getting featured at the site - unexpected! That Convoy -pic was done as a request, loading image for a mission by Byrgesen. Maybe you can check it out and give feedback, I have not tested it myself unfortunately (massive lack of time). Put a lot of detail into the painting without realizing the loading image in Arma 3 is the tiny pic in the middle of the screen, no need for full screen actually. :j:

Anyway here's a new thing.. I think it's Altis.

Why are the stealth(ish)hawk medevacs painted white? Are they gonna hit the rocks in the foreground? Is there actually such lush green areas in Altis? Don't really know..

But this is probably where they are coming from; that can happen if your key early warning radar facility drops off the grid..

Wow - great colour balance. It feels like there is war in there indeed! Great arts in here.

I'm attempting to become good at concept art in my free time, right now just nailing the fundamentals, so I probably won't contribute any time soon until I'm at pro-level in terms of fundamentals.

Some great works from D34 and Raine, even if I can spot some problems.

EDIT: Okay I lied. I had to do something.

Its 6000x4000 so I am NOT posting it as a picture, follow the link.

Not Arma related, but I think I can post it here as an edit to this post, right?

Heavily inspired by Samurai Champloo.

Took about 20 minutes to now, will continue later.

Female Iranian Soldier (obvsly).

Really wonky Sketch, I am aware of how pretty much everything is out of whack proportions wise.

Hamok Pilot

I apologize for the overly idealized and curvy depiction, however, I was thinking of Ghost in the shell amongst other Inspirations while drawing this.

The pictures are of shitty quality because my scanner sucks + upload screwed with the quality too. Anyways, toodles.

Hey man keep doing this, and not just womans!

Nice one Vasily. That airstrip looks like Mega city 1 or a maybe a Super Star Distroyer landing zone as seen from high orbit :)

I really like your idea with the Star Destroyer, maybe i will add one flying over the planet. Currently i added some clouds to make it look more like a real planet.. i don't like them because it's nearly impssible to make a textured sphere in Gimp but yeah ^^

EDIT: uploaded the final version.
