    but the snorckels are more for inland combat , not for beach landing , the only thing you can do with a snorckel is to pass rivers and small lakes

    true, schnokels would be a tad unrealistic, but it'd still be cool, imagine you're on beach duty, and you see some pipes sticking out the water close to shore, then all of a sudden 4 T-80's rocket out of the water and f**k everything up......

    unrealistic, but it'd kick ass, add a new dimension of terror for the yanks

    hehehe , i remember an old french film of the end of the 70's with alain delon
    the story is about the love between a medic and a doctress during a fictionnal war in europe between two unknow nations but with a big french implication (i think it's a scenario of war against the urss , i guessed that because of the chemical weapons used at a certain moment of the film, and the background of big war)), they are near a lake and suddenly a snorckel appears , and after that , the tank , very slowly , and after the tank continues his road
    at the end of the film , the doctress is killed by an ap mine in a field of red flowers , what's the name of these f**king flowers in english ? in french we ask them "coquelicots"
