Game download problems!

I have just purchased arma 2 to play dayZ but i actually cant install it due to the fact that sprocket does not want to work on my computer. Im running on windows xp 64bit proffessional. I have tried to use the direct links but they seem to be for windows 7 or vista. I get this error message when trying to download through sprocket:

"The procedure entry point RegSetKeyValueA could not be located in the dynamic link library ADVAPI32.dll."

Please help.
