ATTN USERS: Proper use of the 'report to moderator' system.

Attention Users:

Please note that the main purpose of the 'report to moderator' (RTM) system is for reporting user rule violations or other problematic posts (e.g. piracy), and we ask that you report all of the rule violations you encounter. This includes rule violations in the forum, in PMs, and in groups. We also extend the RTM system usage beyond rule violations in certain situations. For instance, you may:

• RTM in order to notify the administration that you have a post pending approval in the Squads and Fanpages Forum - if it has not been approved within 24h
• Report your own post if you have made a post in error and wish it to be deleted
• Report your own addon or mod thread if you wish it to be closed
• Report your own thread if you wish to have its name changed

Please do not use the RTM system to get the attention of moderators for other purposes. A PM will do. And please DO NOT use the RTM system to report BIS staff or Moderators. We can assure you that moderators or BIS Staff will not be giving infractions to each other. There are appropriate channels for such complaints. If you have a problem with a moderator, please PM him. If you feel that the moderator has done something that can not be solved via normal conversation, please notify the head moderator, Placebo.

Addition to above because every week some funny person thinks he must ignore this and report one of us moderators to the rest...

Everyone abusing the RTM system by reporting a moderator to us (and thus to himself) will immediately receive an infraction for doing so. There won't be any warnings first.
