I reinstalled Arma 2 today and I am attempting to install the latest patch. It's telling me the file is corrupted every time I try to extract to. I am downloading the one from the official Arma 2 website.

Make sure that you are running it as Admin.

Download from a different mirror, use a download manager
If someone reports an issue/complains about the Alpha etc, replying in the thread "dude it's an alpha" doesn't really help anyone! Point them to the Arma3 Alpha feedback tracker instead please!
Please do not PM or Email me directly about your CD Key issues, follow the guidance in this thread instead.
Always check the hash value after downloading a patch. I use WinMD5sum, a free open source utility from NullRiver
If the value for the downloaded zip file (not the extracted exe) does not match the published value, delete it & re-download. Also as Placebo says, use a download manager. Beware, some 'free' download managers contain spyware/adware.
