The current OH-58D Kiowa Warrior has universal pylons capable of accepting FFAR, Hellfire, Stinger and/or 0.50 caliber machine gun (see www.fas.org). However, this was a big upgrade over previous versions, and was introduced in '91. I do not have any data on the version current to 85 on hand. I seem to recall that the FFAR rockets then carried were more for target designation than a purely combat role. The Kiowa was (and still is) primarily a scout helicopter.

The normal loadout is one FFAR launcher and one TOW launcher if I'm not mistaken.

Sorry, but it works for me. Try doing an internet search for ....

U.S. Army TACOM - Rock Island

Aircraft Armament and Small Arms Commodity business unit.

Alternatively, find the OH-58 page at www.fas.org and scroll down to the links at the bottom. Althought come to think of it I think that didn't work first time for me and I had to manually play around with the address in my browser.

The resource is worth the searching though.

Apparently the Minigun used to shake the airframe to bits.
