Thread: Fun things to do?

    Fun things to do?

Just looking for some cool/fun/crazy things to do in Arma2 free. I'm on dial up so going on multiplayer is not an option. Just wondering what to do as I'm getting a little bored of just doing spec ops and messing with the editor.

    Thanks!

I would recommend downloading a bunch of player made missions. I can make some fun stuff in the editor but I find it really boring playing something I made myself, because I already know where everything is and what is about to happen But playing something that someone else made is a lot of fun

    - Create a big group of civilians and kill them with a bmp, save your "al-Assad" mission and have fun.

    - You can use the battle generator module to create ongoing battles ( I've never managed to make it work) .

    - Play offline the warfare mission (host the game and play alone against AI). http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=7313

    - Download this mission generator http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=9581 you can create quick missions on the fly.

    - Go on http://www.armaholic.com/index.php and download a ton of missions (check that they don't require addons or mods before downloading).

    - try some dogfights with the aircrafts or strafe units on ground.

    - spawn some units at random locations and try to get from point a to point b, get ambushed, or create an ambush

    - use satchels only to destroy a whole village.

    - Put some units at the castle (on top of the hill) with aaa MGs and other guns and go with some AI to destroy the enemy, then play the same mission in defense.

    - use the support module to launch artillery or mortars

    - use the high command module to play a RTS game

For those who won't buy A3 because of Steam, all I can say is I'll be having the best 5 minutes of my life before my PC explodes in a massive fireball engulfing me as I laugh from dying at the awesomeness of Arma3.

Well I don't do many because I can't drag myself away from multiplayer for more than 5 minutes :P

    But this one seems amazing:

And then for others I usually just go to armaholic and sort the list by rating and then try stuff. Here's the link:

    Superdudy,
give multiplayer a try, I used to play it on dial up, even hosted for one other player.
It worked OK for me so at least give it a try and see if it does for you.

You cant use Addons with Arma:Free so there is no point in linking him missions that needs Addons or a link to Addons.
