external graphic/video cards????

I have just ran some tests (http://www.systemrequirementslab.com...mA+II&id=10877) and done a bit of research on my current laptop and have found that everything is of a good enough standard to play arma 2 but my graphics/video card.

I know that to change the card on a laptop is a a pain in the ass so instead i searched and found external graphics cards.

Does anyone use them??
Are they any good??
Will it allow me to reach the recommend standard??

Any info would be apreciated...

what part of use the existing can will my pc run A2 thread didn't you get?

external gfx card for laptops are, in 90% of the cases improvised afaik. the ones that you can buy are insanly expensive for the amount of power they provide. Short answer: you are out of luck: laptop are NOT gaming hardware

So you're too lazy to write down your system but expect others to search for "your other thread"? I wouldn't bet on that. Maybe using your signature to write down your specs would be a idea.


Anyway, you receive a warning for making a thread the second time when there is a appropriate existing thread.
