Random crashes - quite a lot of them

Sadly I've been trying to enjoy this game, but keep getting random lockups - with no pattern. I can be zoomed in on an island beginning an attack, or manually shooting down enemy Mantas and the game just stops... pauses for maybe 10-15 seconds then drops to desktop with a 'sorry, this software has encountered a serious error'..

Sometimes it seems like it's Bistudios debugger, other times just the plain old Msoft one.

Anyone else had similar problems?

Is this on a private server or public? Is your game updated to the latest Official Patch? Is your video settings set too high? Comp specs?

Private Server / Public Server ?? Think you have the wrong game .. .. ..

... for the OP ... not had any crashes since v2 came out - I had a couple of crashes on v1.
