Since I did not see a thread for international or Canadian I will take it opon myself to start a Canadian Politics Thread (Unless someone ends up starting a North American Politics or International politics thread. If this is breaking any rules feel free to close it.

What is your thoughts on Canada's move to purchase the F-35 Stealth Fighter Jet? Why don't we start creating our own aircraft like we tried (and succeeded in doing) in what...the 50's when we created the Avro.

Oh yes, my position has been compromised...good luck finding me. Canada has 13 provinces :P and looooooots of cities and shiz so GOOOD LUCK lol. Anyways lets get on topic. Wouldn't be more cost effective if we spent the time to create our own aircraft?
