DirectX Error Only with Beta

Used to runt he beta versions prior to 1.60 patch and have been using 1.60 since. Decided to try the latest beta versions out but whenever i try loading the beta version is comes up with "Error creating Direct3D 9 Graphical engine". If i run the normal 1.60 non-beta game it works fine. Any idea what in the beta version would cause this?

Running Windows7 with latest Directx.

How are you launching the beta? It needs to be done in a specific way.

For starters, check your Arma2 folder for a link called "Launch Arma2 OA beta patch" or similar.

Been using the same shortcut i've always used for the beta.

Just downloading latest version of the beta and will try that.
