    Operation Arrowhead uninstall error

    Greetings!
I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me with this peculiar and troubling uninstall error I get for Operation Arrowhead.

You see I installed the game originally just fine, working and whatnot, though a bad habit I have is to manually uninstall programs by deleting their files from the program folder myself. While at any other time this would normally work it however seems to have backfired on me now.

On inserting the disc for OA and running it the program thinks it is still installed and wants to uninstall it instead of starting the setup, though when I click for it to uninstall however the following error appears, as shown in this screen shot I took: This error is reproduced when I try to select the program (which is still on my Control pannel - Programs list) and uninstall it that way too, with or without the disc.

(removed - I cannot post it without at least 1 post under my name? I'll make a reply to the thread with it)

Is there a way I could remove this so I can install OA again normally?
I am not afraid to duck and dive around in the registry if it comes to something like that, I just need to know what I am looking for.

    Many thanks
    ~ TCJ

Maybe some uninstalling apps might help like Revo Uninstaller

Just proposing, Google might give you more alternatives.

Not sure if it works for you, but i'd try to clear all Arma2/OA related info from the registry (search for "Bohemia Interactive").
    MSI P55-GD65 | Core i5 750 @ 2.67GHz | 4GB DDR3 | ATI HD 5970 (Asus EAH5970/G/2DIS/2GD5) | OCZ Revo 120GB PCIe SSD | 2x OCZ Vertex 4 120GB |
    Windows 7 64bit Home Premium | Catalysts 13.1 | ArmA2 OA 1.62.0.101480 (beta) +BAF +PMC +ACR | ArmA2 1.11.0.86734 | ArmA 1.18.0.5281 | OFP 1.0.0.96

    Be smart, use Sprocket!

Although the one you suggested is trying to use OA's uninstall method, which produces the same error as I have shown above, that certainly is an idea to think over. I shall search through google and see what applications I can turn up that will get the job done!

I currently have Arma 2: Free installed as well, so any general searches tend to lead me back to that rather than anything for OA, I am not sure if there is anything for it in there now, that or it is hidden well.

A special thank you to [FRL]Myke for that, the program actually managed to find the leftover files that were buried away and allowed me to delete them. On putting in the disc again after that I was able to install normally.

Thanks guys! The fast response was wonderful.
