Arma 2 co ctd

Hi Guys new the forum and need some help. I bought ARMA2, AMRA2OA and the 2 DLC's on steam.
Since I have it installed all it does is crash to desktop at random times for a reason unknown to myself.
Now I tried to reinstall ARMA2 etc, used CC cleaner before the reinstall to make sure I had a clean install of ARMA2.
But still it crashes, now I know that my system is more that capable of running ARMA2 as it a brand new system aka less than a month old and I can run for example BF3 on Ultra at silly FPS on my GFX, so to be fair even ARMA2 should run fairly well on this rig:

Specs as follows:
i5-3570K CPU @ 4.6GHZ
Cosair Vengance 8GB 1600MHZ
Cosair Force Series 3 60gb(OS drive) + WD Black Caviar 2TB(Steam installed on the 2TB drive and I run all games and the Pagefile from this drive)
EVGA GeForce GTX 680 SC (factory OC)
ASUS Xonar DG Soundcard
Gigabyte Z77X-D3H
Cosair HX850W PSU

Also I have run the DXDIAG if you need a copy of it. The game version of ARMA2 is 1.11 and AMRA2OC is 1.60 which i believe is the latest versions on steam. But I did notice that when I ran the " verify the game Cache" that on both ARMA2 and AMRA2AO it keeps telling me it need to re-download a file for some odd reason.
Now I cant update the GFX drivers are there are no new one's at present, but all other drivers are up today and Win7 is fully up to date also.

So any feedback would be great guys.

Got game crash? Do this

You can try a beta. There are game crash fixes with them.
Also, Arma is very CPU intensive and can crash under unstable overclocks but usually as BSOD. You could try running your CPU/RAM at stock.

Thanks for the reply I will give that a go, only ARMA2 does not behave, BF3,Metro2033 and a long long list of games run fine with the OC on the CPU and factory OC on the GFX.
