is the receiving bug still about or is there a fix. i dont mean the multiplayer cant connect receiving bug. i mean the black screen with receiving on it that pops up all the damn time. i looked about but i could not find a fix. so is there actualy a fix?

What game are you playing, and version that you get this issue?
Sounds like monitor issues, but I'd like to ask have you checked your GPU temps, and check your resolution settings,
and refresh rate for your monitor, as I never heard of such a bug in the Arma game, nor ever came across it myself.

that thread is talking about my problem back in 2009. but i still get it now and cant fix it. im not very good with computors so you will have to talk me through stuff if you want to know what pc i have. i have no idea how to find out
Did you read through that thread and try some of the things that were mentioned that had solved the issue for those posters?
Tell me what you have tried or are looking to try and I could walk you through them if need be.
Just some suggestions, in your vid settings ingame turn off post processing, turn down the textures and see if those do anything.
