Crusader Kings 2 is awesome. I think its their best game to date.

I have crusader kings 2 and I'm not sure why everybody likes it so much. Maybe I'm not playing it properly or something.

CK2 is just the simplest Paradox game basically. No need to worry about anything but your heir. That's why many love it so much.

HoI3 is the best Paradox game thus far.

It can really depend on how much power you start with, for example currently I'm playing as a Count in control of one province so much of "the game" is currently managing and planning my dynasty while also working to find an effective way to depose my liege. Whereas if you start as a King of somewhere, there will be much more war and vassal management to deal with.

HoI3 is the best Paradox game thus far.

My favourite has been HOI2 Armageddon Doomsday so far. I like playing from 1936 and making alternate history (I play as the soviets, don't do the purge and invade eastern europe).

Favourite mod for HOI2 is Kaiserreich... so fun!

Paradox is promising that alternative history will be possible in "Their Finest Hour" DLC. In fact up to a point where you can set up which country is in which alliance at the very start (there's a screenshot showing a fascist Italy and a "usual" Italy being the leaders of 2 of the alliances)
We'll see how that promise holds up.

I like more Arsenal of Democracy, since the AI uses some strategic tactics when defending and attacking than vanilla mass plain mob placing in the frontier

Have any of you experienced Sengoku? I heard it's kinda CK2 in Japan... but is there any difference? The only experience I have with Paradox games are EU3 and HoI3...

Btw, Gamersgate are having a sale on paradox games... dont know how long it will last, I'm currently eyeing on Pride of Nations

It pains me to see that Norway's counties are still bitterly screwed up. Which reminds me I need to finish up my Norway county mod for CKII.
