Yes, but you have to launch arma 2 standalone and not combined operations, there is a lot of chernarus coop and one pvp server.

You can even play as a russian on Chernarus against USMC.

As to the map, definitely Chenarus. Lingor would be lovely too. Eggbeasts Evo on Lingor is splendid.

Takistan, for me, is a bit "brown", dull and predictable although does have better framerates.

Chernarus all the way! More objects as far as terrain is concerned, and it's so much more interesting too. Not just hills and valleys, though I do like Takistan for other game modes "Patrol" like missions.

I really like Takistan because of the towns. Some of them are designed amazingly. It is a shame more servers don't utlilize the whole map of takistan, but rather just ramsan and batsam.

Chenarus has a great environment with woods and water, but I am not a fan of their towns.

yes sorry you can play chernarus on CO, what I meant was that you will have a hard time finding a coop or pvp server on chernarus if you launch CO everybody play on takistan with CO, but if you launch arma 2 1.11 there is plenty of coop on Chernarus.

I'd say Takistan. Domination just has that "Big army eat small army" thing going for it. And fighting russkies with conventional military gear just doesn't really suit it that well.

I currently host a Chenarus CO public server and much prefer that over Takistan. Like was mentioned earlier, it is much harder to capture a town on Chernarus than on Takistan. If the interest is great enough, I may be able to port Domination over to other islands as well. I used to have it on Panthera and that seemed a bit harder than Chenarus.
