Ancient Era Mod
Secret Mod that cannot be named yet
I really want to play this mod. I am an Arma2 and later gamer, but one of my interests is warfare in the Age of Antiquity. Will Arma Gold run on 64-bit Windows 7 Professional (my current setup)?

System: MSI GT70, i7-36710qm, 16GB DDR3 RAM, 2X64GB SSD RAID, 750GB SATA, Radeon GTX670M GDDR5 3GB, 17" Screen 1920X1080, Windows 7 Pro
OK ... I thought Arma Gold was a complete bundle of all the Arma original series. So I should just buy this

right?
Yes, that's it. (If you have ArmA X, it's included).
Professor, thank you in advance for taking away tens of hours of my life, spending on playing your fantastic mod! I have watched the thread discussing your work in progress for months, and remember somebody was asking about possibility for making formations. ***I've used the script for line battles from the Civil War mod ("line41", etc) and it worked fine! In fact, it made the game look and play like...the initial battle from the movie Gladiator!!! "Close" line formations does make sense: My legionaries march realistically tied, then stay the ground and help each other to kill running into them disorganized barbarians! It worked just like it was in history! I tried to fight with and without formations, and the results were remarkable: The legion in formations lost significantly less men than the one that fought "at will"! So, I have all my legionaries in formations now and light troops and allies - fighting without formation, - to follow and kill running away (and around) enemies. It is amazing, it feels like... it is a real Legion!.. Thank you!!!
My pleasure, Professor! I am at my work now, and do not have access to my files...but I will do when I come home tonight. It is strange...I just tried to locate the files with the line battle script on the Internet...could not find them...

I think you could find it on the Spad's page (not sure, since my IPhone cannot load it for some reason)
Professore, I just wanted to acknowledge that indeed, those scripts that I used to tie the legionaries in line formations had been made by you (I found your signature in the following document). I'm working on the Rome Total War scenario right now (its going to be quite epic) and, as soon as it is ready, I will post it somewhere, with your permission***Your antique island is beautiful! I could only dream about "what if" somebody try to stretch the map, like 31st Rip done it for Arma (1 and 2)...and make a western Mediterranean theater with Part of North-East Spain, South of France, Italy, Sicily, ***and, of course, the dreaded coast of Northern Africa - with mighty Carthage! Then we could start working on the super-scenarios like "The First Punic War" or "The War Against Hannibal"
