    Note the loadout arms them with some kind of pistol - Uzi, Uzi SD, Makarov, Makarov SD, etc...




    Sight uses M16 sight, but is calibrated so you actually look through the sight and not the weapon when launching grenades:



    The MRO-A is based on the RPG-18 and as such uses the same model since they are essentially the same with a different warhead.

    If I could figure a way to get the animations working correctly when using the pistol slot I'd add a pistol-slot version of the launchers. However it always places the launcher in the wrong position on the soldier.

    A pistol slot version would be cool, i remember the OFP Falklands war mod has an M79 configured for a pistol slot, it should be possible.

    I think the RG-6's rate of fire is a bit too high, could you tweak it into slower rate like this video (1:05)? Also the launcher is missing the reloading sound.

    Dysta thanks for that vid! I will see what I can do with the reload times. Pretty sure the ammo reload time can be tweaked no problem.

    I have tried making the magazine reload times longer, but the animation apparently can't be slowed down. Perhaps the animation can be replayed? It looks strange you're standing there waiting for the counter to turn green for a few seconds, but it doesn't seem correct that the launcher takes as long as a rifle mag change. That video is at the target range, so it seems logical that it could take up to a minute if you're fumbling with pouches on your gear while in a combat situation. But for gameplay sitting there for 1 minute seems like a stretch. So perhaps for gameplay about a 15 second reload time would be a good compromise.

    Uh, for the reloading speed, I think you can do nothing about it, since BIS M32 is also reloading as fast as a rifle magazine (Except the mounted M32 in Ka-60).

    I've managed to tweak the RG6 a little!

    I also built a Russian GM-94 launcher! The dimensions are very close; I altered them slightly so they look correct when being held in the hand.

    It is a little too shiny. I am not sure how to tweak the RVMAT. The texture is a picture from the web that was resized. Had to REALLY darken it to keep it from looking cartoonish. I have no skill in building the texture maps, but it isn't very detailed anyway and doesn't really detract. I just need to find a standard RVMAT that isn't so shiny!


    It uses thermobaric grenades and VOG-25 grenades for the sake of gameplay.

    v1.0 released - see first post! I expanded the addon to include not only the RG-6, but also the GM-94, MRO-A and RPO-A thermobaric grenade launchers. Also units with localization for every type of grenade launcher including BIS grenade launchers.
