How to prevent ACE users joining a server without verifySignatures

Hi guys is there any way of preventing ACE users from joining a server without using verifySignatures

The ACE sound mod is fine but all other ACE mods are like a disease for vanilla servers.

The best way is to enable signature protection: http://sickboy-six.blogspot.com/ - what keeps you from using it?
Possibly you find some other options here http://wiki.ace-mod.net/Running_an_ACE_Server in the section "How can I disallow ACE mod on my server?".

What effects are you experiencing when an ACE user joins your server?

you are right Sickboy, I have adopted signature protection.

i did not want to because had massive in game lag when using it before, but this time i turned regularCheck off and all is perfect.
