Hi I've tried re installing the game and checking if my drivers were up to date but thats not fixing it.
I have no mods either.
I have tried running as administrator in steam.
And manually launched it from a folder as administrator.
Every time half way through it stops and gives me this error:
bin\config.bin/CfgInGameUI/MPTable.shadow
then when I press Okay It loads a little more and then i get the Error:
Error compiling pixel shader PSSpecularAlpha:0
I've tried everything I know how to do can anyone please help me.

Are you sure you run it as admin. Normally this helps for this one AFAIK.

The reason I am asking is you saying this:

To me this sounds like you first start steam and then outside of steam launch the arma2oa.exe, right?

No I mean that I have tried running as administrator in steam.
