Editing Campaign Missions and then playing them in campaign mode.

I have search this forum but cant seem to find the answer I am looking for.

I have used cpbo to extract and missions files and have edited them in the editor. I am using ACE so wanted to put a rucksack box, medic box and special weapons box(for earplugs) at the start of the mission so I wouldnt go deaf and could heal myself plus carry more.

I then compressed the missions folder again and coppied the missions.pbo back to the game folder within add ons.

When I start the mission I cannot find the boxes which I places.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

I am trying to do this for single player campaign. I just want to be able to make use of ACE without going deaf all the time.

Right, I figured it out. I was editing the wrong map. I was editing Dogs of War and but needed to edit Dogs of War B.
Added rucksack box, medic box and special weapon box. all work.
