Synchronize help

I'm tring to make a mission were my squad gets out of a heli and run up to some civilians and the civilians join the squad. I have the civilians "join" waypoint sync'd with the last waypoint of the squad. Problem is, they join as soon as we get out of the heli? Any sugestons?

Give the sqaud a move waypoint up to where you meet the civies then a join and lead waypoint right next to it synced with the join waypoint.

I tried that and it did not work. Any other tips?

Give the civilians one more waypoint, before the join

waypoint, syncronize it with the waypoint of the

squad (the one right before the join&lead waypoint).

This should prevent them from joining imidately.
