Post Lynn "Buck" Compton, Band of Brothers hero dies at 90

I figured since I have a connection here I would post the news. The link is to an article I posted at MilitaryGaming.org.

Buck was one of the most humble and loving men I have ever met in my life. I was very blessed to have known and spent an amount of time with him that most never had the opportunity to. Another eagle as flown to the heavens.

Buck Compton was the last living Officer from Easy Company, 506th from WW2

A great man, not only during WW2 but he continued in public service for the rest of his working life. A great example to everyone.

It's often easy to forget what these heroes have sacrificed for our freedom, let it be our duty that these selfless men are remembered for generations to come.

    Rest in Peace
